Poverty Simulation

Human Environmental Sciences sponsored a Poverty Simulation for all HES students, including the wonderful Social Work students and members of NASW-SO.

At the simulation NASW-SO members volunteered and participated in the simulation, which allowed students to learn what the simulation was about, navigate their way through the maze of agencies to take care of their families, and discuss their experiences and discover some hidden truths about poverty.

Big thanks to our advisor, Jack Register, Jennifer Clark, our social work department faculty, the volunteers and participants that made the simulation a wonderful learning experience!
